Crown, casing, railings and stair parts all take a different approach than walls. Joints open as a house moves, so we fill and caulk first; old oil-based trim needs a bonding primer or the new coat will peel in sheets a year later. We test what is on there before we choose a system.
Stair railings are the hardest trim in most homes — heavily handled, complex to mask, and impossible to hide a run on. We coat spindles and handrails in stages so nothing is drying against a surface it will stick to, and the finish is a hard enamel that survives daily hands.

Minor splits, gaps and loose sections are filled and secured. Full replacement is quoted separately so you can see the cost clearly.
